The other day I wrote about Swagbucks and how easy it is to earn money or free merchandise.

Earlier today, I was able to earn 40 Swagbucks in a matter of minutes. Usually, each day I go to the Tasks button and see what is available for me to complete. I am always looking for something quick. I’d rather not spend 30 minutes completing a Survey, but I am willing to spend 10 minutes and see if I can complete a Task.

Today, there are the same (but separate) Tasks for American and Canadian Swagbucketeers (is that a word?)  Each time you complete the task, you will earn 20 Swagbucks. Today’s Task is to open up a Google Window and search for phrases such as “online casinos” (The Task specifies the keywords you need to enter.)

You note which page of the Google results you found the key phrase, note how far down the page that particular result was and then open up a link to that site. You are then asked to find particular information. In this case, it was “What is the second game listed under the Featured Games tab?”

Type your answer in, and move on to the next search phrase.

Very simple, very quick and when you finish you get 20 Swagbucks.

However, don’t stop there! In my case, I was allowed to complete the task twice, thereby doubling my Swagbucks! Last week, I was able to complete a Task 3 times, giving me a total of 60 Swagbucks.

Just keep doing the same Task until a screen comes up saying something like “Thank you for your work on this Task, you are now finished”.

So I received a total of 40 Swagbucks, and I haven’t even done a search using their toolbar yet today. Maybe if I watch some SBTV as well, I can get around 70 Swagbucks today. We’ll see – I will come back later and  make a note of my daily total.

Update: Yesterday I ended up with 70 Swagbucks total for the day.

Here’s how it works:

Once you sign up, you can use the Swagbucks Toolbar exactly as you would the Google homepage. Use the Swagbucks search bar every time you need to search something out on the web. You won’t win Swagbucks each and every time you search, but you will win them after you do several searches.

I use the Swagbucks search bar every time I want to come to my own site. Why not? I need to be here anyway, why not try and get some Swagbucks at the same time?

Every day, you can go to the pulldown menu on the Swagbucks Home Page and click on Daily Poll. Answer the question for that day and you win 1 Swagbuck. You can even suggest poll questions and if your question is chosen, you win extra Swagbucks.

You can also watch SBTV. For every 10 or so videos you watch (and they are short videos), you earn 3 Swagbucks. I keep more than 1 window open, so that I can work on other things while watching SBTV. Keep clicking for new videos and watch your Swagbuck total go up and up.

Also, when you go to the Swagbucks Home Page, make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the page. Every hour, a new user name is listed there – if it is yours you will win 1000 Swagbucks. That’s a good reason to check out the Home Page several times per day.

At the time of this writing, 450 Swagbucks will get you a $5 Amazon card. Now, you know what a huge variety of merchandise is on the Amazon website. Imagine being able to shop with your gift cards. Many people are already doing this. You can save up enough Amazon cards to end up getting your merchandise for free!

This is a great way of buying Christmas gifts, birthday or baby shower gifts or just getting things that YOU need or want.

You can complete Tasks on the Swagbucks site and they will net you anywhere from 2 to 30 Swagbucks. Last week, I was able to complete enough tasks in one morning to get me 60 Swagbucks!! That is a lot, and I was able to do it while doing other computer work at the same time.

If you haven’t yet signed up for Swagbucks do it now. Go to the Swagstore and look over all the different gift cards and merchandise you will be able to get for free.

Then, remember to do your online searching with the Swagbucks toolbar. You can download the Toolbar right to your desktop so it is always there, if you like.

Complete the Daily Polls.

Watch SBTV.

Complete Tasks (Swagbucks will remember where you are in the task process so if you need to leave without fully completing the task, you can come back later and just pick up right where you left off).

Complete Swagbucks Surveys – these are a great way of earning many Swagbucks at one time.

Put a banner on your website if you have one. Gain referrals and you will benefit from their searches and work with Swagbucks up to a certain point.
